Inspection preparation, as it is

The staff conversation is the hardest part to prepare for.

Preparation usually focuses on documents. But inspectors speak to care workers on the floor, and to kitchen, maintenance and admin staff too, and inconsistent answers become findings.

CareStream gives every member of the team regular practice with the kind of questions inspectors ask, matched to their role and in their own language.

Without CareStream

Staff give vague or inconsistent answers to questions they have never practised, and gaps become visible in conversation.

With CareStream

Staff have practised inspector style questions across all five key questions, with a score and feedback on every answer.

Questions from services preparing for CQC

Frequently asked.

Are the questions multiple choice?

No. Staff write a real answer in their own words. Each question is reworded slightly on delivery, so staff cannot memorise a fixed reply.

Can non-care staff take part?

Yes. Question sets are matched to the role, including kitchen, maintenance and admin staff, who inspectors also speak to.

Can staff practise in another language?

Yes. The question, model answer and feedback are shown in each staff member's language, and they can answer in it. Your reporting stays in English.

Does this guarantee a good rating?

No. CareStream helps your team practise and gives you evidence of preparation. It does not assess or influence CQC ratings.

Preparation, not a rating guarantee

CareStream helps staff practise and records their progress. It does not make any assessment of, or claim to influence, CQC inspection ratings.
